My father retired as Under Secretary from Ministry of External Affairs and has served in Indian Embassies abroad. My mother also worked in Ministry of External Affairs and has served in Indian Embassies abroad as Attache. My father has two sisters . One sister retired as Deputy Manager from National Insurance Co. Ltd and the other sister retired from SBI and her husband retired as an Officer from SBI. All are well settled with their own houses. My mother has three sisters. Her Elder sister retired as Deputy General Manager from Corporation Bank (now Union Bank) and her husband also retired as AGM from Corporation Bank. One of her younger sisters is CEO in CBRE , Dallas (US) and another is settled in Chennai and working as Insurance Advisor. My Mothers younger brother (Mama) is settled in Canada.. He is working for Cannon. We are a well settled upper middle class family. We have flats in Delhi and Chennai and property in Trivandrum.
